Drum Sieve Filter
Drum Sieve Filters are self-cleaning mechanical filters. The liquid to be filtered is filtered by entering the side of the drum and passing through the filter screen. The level difference of the water inside and outside the drum is effected by gravity for filtration, and the solid particles and other contaminants adhere to the inner surface of the drum as the slowly rotating drum flows through the filter. During the rotational movement, the particles are cleaned from the surface by means of high pressure spray nozzles and collected in a tray. This process prevents the breakdown of soft organic particles and increases the efficiency of the filter.
